What is the Camelot Wheel?

The DJ's secret to flawless, harmonic transitions.

  • Created by Mark Davis, it's the worldwide standard system DJs use for Harmonic Mixing.
  • It maps the 24 musical keys onto 12 numbered positions (1–12), each with a Major (B) and a minor (A) version.
  • Tracks on adjacent positions blend together harmonically — no clashing notes, no key drama.
  • Used by legends like Carl Cox and Armin van Buuren, and by most DJs playing festivals like Tomorrowland and Ultra.
