Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
At Ghost Producer World, your privacy and the confidentiality of your musical projects are our highest priority. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal and financial information when you use our platform.
Who we are. The data controller responsible for your personal data is Ghost Producer World LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States. Our registered mailing address and contact email are published on the Support Center. For any privacy request, write to [email protected].
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us when creating an account, such as your name, email address, and payment details (processed securely via third-party gateways like PayPal or Stripe). We also collect data regarding your browsing behavior on our platform to improve our catalog algorithms.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To process transactions securely between buyers and producers.
- To generate the legally binding Copyright Transfer Agreements automatically.
- To send you updates regarding your track sales, offers, or account status.
3. Confidentiality Guarantee (NDA)
Any purchase made on Ghost Producer World is protected by strict Non-Disclosure rules. We will never publicly disclose the identity of a buyer who purchased a specific track, nor will we disclose the real identity of the ghost producer unless explicitly agreed upon by both parties.
4. Cookies
We use essential cookies — the small pieces of storage strictly required for the platform to function — and, only with your consent, Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. We do not use advertising or profiling cookies.
- Authentication — keeps you securely logged in to your account (Supabase).
- Security & anti-fraud — protects sign-up and checkout from bots and abuse (Cloudflare Turnstile / Cloudflare).
- Payments — required by our payment processor to detect fraud during checkout (Stripe).
Because the essential cookies are strictly necessary to deliver a service you request (logging in, staying secure, paying), they are exempt from prior consent under the ePrivacy Directive / GDPR. You can still block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site (login and checkout) may stop working.
Analytics (optional). If you click Accept all in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.), which sets _ga cookies to measure visits, pages viewed and traffic sources. Nothing is loaded if you choose Essential only. You can change your choice at any time: Cookie settings.
5. Identity Verification & Data Retention
To keep the marketplace safe for both buyers and producers, we ask for a photo of a government-issued ID and its document number:
- Buyers — once, before the first purchase. There is no waiting for approval; it simply protects sellers against payment fraud (e.g. chargebacks filed after the files were delivered).
- Producers — as part of seller verification, reviewed by our team before selling is enabled.
How it is protected: documents are stored encrypted in a private bucket, are never shown publicly or to other users, and are only accessible to our verification team through expiring, access-controlled links.
How long we keep it: the image of your document is automatically and permanently deleted 30 days after submission (or after seller review is completed). While your account is open we keep only a non-reversible digital fingerprint (a cryptographic hash) and the document number, used exclusively to prevent banned accounts from re-registering. If you close your account yourself, the fingerprint and the number are deleted too. We never sell or share your identity data with third parties.
6. How Long We Keep Everything Else
Personal data is kept for a stated purpose and for a limited time, not indefinitely. These deletions run automatically, for everyone:
| What | Kept for | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Photo of your ID document | 30 days | Identity verification |
| IP address of each file download | 90 days | Evidence of delivery in a payment dispute. After 90 days the record of the download remains, without the address. |
| Support messages sent without an account | 12 months | Answering and following up your request |
| Sales, contracts and payout records | As required by law | Tax records, and the buyer's proof of ownership |
7. Closing Your Account
You can close your account yourself, at any time, from Dashboard → Settings → Delete Account. You will be asked for your password and to type DELETE, because the action cannot be undone.
What is permanently removed: your name and legal name, email, phone number, country, biography, profile photo and banners, social and streaming links, the photo of your ID document together with its fingerprint and number, your handwritten signature, your bank and payout details, your support messages, your login history, and your likes, follows, saved items and notification preferences.
What remains, and why it must: if you ever bought or sold on Ghost Producer World, the record of that sale, the rights-transfer agreement that goes with it and the related payout records are kept. Two reasons, and neither is ours to waive: they are our tax records, and they are the other party's proof — the buyer of a track must be able to demonstrate, years later, that the rights are lawfully theirs. Those records stay under an anonymous label such as deleted_user_a1b2c3d4 instead of your name. Messages you exchanged inside a paid service order also remain, anonymised, so the person who paid keeps the history of what was agreed.
When we cannot close it immediately: if you still have money owed to you, we will ask you to receive the payment first — it is yours, and it does not disappear because you closed an account. Accounts under an open sanction, and administrator accounts, cannot be closed this way; write to the Support Center.
Your rights: under the GDPR, the LGPD and comparable laws you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Deletion is available directly in your dashboard as described above; for access or correction requests, or if you do not have an account, write to [email protected]. Data required to comply with legal, tax or anti-fraud obligations is retained where the law requires it.
8. Companies That Process Data For Us
Running the marketplace means some of your data is handled by specialist providers. Each is bound by a data-processing agreement and may only use the data to provide their service to us:
- Stripe and PayPal — payments. Card details are entered directly with them and never reach our servers. All prices are charged in USD.
- Supabase — database and authentication. Cloudflare — file storage, content delivery and bot protection. Railway — application hosting.
- Resend — sending the emails you receive from us.
- YouTube — only for producers who submit a project to our channel, and only what is published on the video itself.
An honest limit: once data has reached a payment processor it is subject to their retention obligations, which are also fiscal and which we cannot override. Closing your account with us does not erase the record of a payment held by Stripe or PayPal. To exercise your rights over that data, you must contact them directly.
Terms of Use
Last updated: August 2026
These Terms govern your use of ghostproducerworld.com (the “Website”). By creating an account, browsing, buying or uploading, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
1. Who You Are Contracting With
The Website is operated by Ghost Producer World LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States (“Ghost Producer World”, “we”, “us”). Our registered mailing address and support email are published on the Support Center.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract in order to use the Website. Accounts opened with false information, or opened on behalf of a previously banned user, may be terminated without notice.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity carried out under your account. Buyers and producers verify their identity as described in the Privacy Policy. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
4. How Sales Work — We Are the Seller
Producers licence their work to Ghost Producer World for sale through the Website. Ghost Producer World then sells each track to the buyer in its own name, as the seller and merchant of record for every transaction. Your payment is a payment to Ghost Producer World, and Ghost Producer World is the party responsible to you for the order, for delivery of the files, and for the accompanying transfer of rights.
Producers are our suppliers; they are not a party to your purchase contract. We pay each producer a share of the sale price under a separate agreement between us and that producer. Ghost Producer World is not an escrow, payment or money transmission service, and does not hold funds on behalf of any user.
5. Prices, Currency and Taxes
Every price shown on the Website is in United States Dollars (USD) and is charged in USD. Your bank or card issuer may apply its own exchange rate and foreign transaction fees, which are outside our control. You are responsible for any local, import or withholding taxes that apply to you.
6. Delivery
All products are digital. Access to the purchased files — the mastered WAV, the unmastered mixdown, the stems, the MIDI files and the copyright transfer agreement, as listed on the product page — is granted immediately after payment is confirmed, from your account. Nothing is shipped physically. If a download fails, see section 2 of the Refund Policy.
7. Offers
Where a track accepts Offers, submitting an Offer is a binding proposal to buy at the price you name. If the Offer is accepted, you are expected to complete payment. Offers expire automatically if they are not answered within the period shown to you when you submit them.
8. Producer Payouts and Commission
When a track sells, Ghost Producer World retains a commission and credits the remainder to the producer's seller balance, from which payouts are requested. The commission rate depends on the producer's level and is shown in the producer's dashboard at all times. Payouts are subject to a minimum threshold and to completed identity verification.
9. Prohibited Conduct
- Uploading material you do not fully own, or that contains uncleared samples.
- Listing a track for sale elsewhere while it is live on the Website.
- Arranging a sale outside the Website in order to avoid commission.
- Fraudulent payments, stolen cards, or chargebacks filed on files that were delivered and downloaded.
- Scraping, reverse engineering, or interfering with the security of the Website.
We may suspend or permanently terminate any account that breaches these rules, and withhold payouts connected to fraudulent activity.
10. Intellectual Property
The rights a buyer receives in a purchased track are set out in the Transfer of Rights. The Website itself — its name, logo, design, text and software — remains the property of Ghost Producer World and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.
11. Refunds
Our full policy is set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Website is provided on an “as is” basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not guarantee any commercial result from a track you buy or sell. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim connected with the Website or with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
13. Changes and Suspension
We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Website. We may also update these Terms; material changes are reflected in the “last updated” date above, and continuing to use the Website after that date constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of that State. Nothing in this section removes a mandatory consumer protection right you have under the law of your country of residence.
15. Contact
Questions about these Terms: [email protected], or through the Support Center.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: July 2026
Ghost Producer World sells digital audio products (ghost-production tracks delivered as WAV/MP3 files and, where applicable, project files) and custom production services. We sell as the seller of record for every order, as set out in section 4 of the Terms of Use. Because our products are intangible digital goods delivered instantly, the following policy applies to every purchase.
1. Digital Tracks & Offers — All Sales Are Final
When you buy a track (at list price or through an accepted Offer), you receive the downloadable audio files together with an automatically generated agreement transferring the copyright to you in full — see Transfer of Rights. Due to the digital, non-returnable nature of these products, all sales are final and non-refundable once the files have been downloaded. Once a file has been delivered and downloaded, it cannot be "returned", and a refund is therefore not possible.
2. Before You Download — Technical Issues
If, before downloading, you experience a genuine technical problem — a corrupt file, the wrong file delivered, or the download link not working — contact us within 48 hours of purchase through the Support Center. We will repair the delivery or, if we cannot, issue a refund for that specific order. This applies only where the files have not yet been successfully downloaded.
3. Custom Production Services
Custom service orders (e.g. a track made to order) work in stages. The producer delivers a demo first, and you may request changes or ask for a refund at that point. You can request a refund at any time up to the moment you approve the demo. Once you approve it, the producer starts the full production and the order is no longer refundable.
Refund requests are reviewed and approved by our team on a case-by-case basis, to protect both buyer and producer. Paid add-ons bought together with a track (customization, marketing videos) are not refundable: the track itself was sold as an exclusive, final sale.
4. Cancellations
You may cancel a purchase at any time before completing payment. After payment is completed for a digital product, the order is processed immediately and cannot be cancelled, subject to the exceptions in sections 2 and 3 above.
5. Chargebacks & Fraud
Filing a chargeback for a digital product that was successfully delivered and downloaded is considered fraudulent. To protect our sellers, every buyer verifies their identity before their first purchase (see the Privacy Policy). We reserve the right to dispute illegitimate chargebacks with the evidence of delivery on file and to permanently ban the associated identity from the platform.
6. How Payments Are Processed
All card payments are processed securely and encrypted by our payment processor, Stripe. Ghost Producer World does not collect, see or store your full card details on its own servers.
7. Contact
Questions about a purchase or this policy? Reach us at [email protected] or through the Support Center.
Transfer of Rights
This is the core of our business model. Understanding the transfer of rights is crucial for both buyers and sellers on Ghost Producer World.
1. Absolute Ownership
Upon the successful completion of a payment, the buyer is granted 100% of the Master and Publishing rights. The track becomes entirely royalty-free for the buyer. The buyer has the right to release the track under their own artist name, sign it to any record label, and collect all royalties generated from streaming, radio, and live performances.
2. The Seller's Obligations
Once a track is sold, the producer (seller) relinquishes all claims to the track. The producer may not use the track, its main melodies, or its specific vocal processing in any future projects. The producer cannot claim credit publicly for the track unless explicitly permitted by the buyer.
3. The Legal Contract
A PDF contract is automatically generated at the moment of purchase, documenting the permanent transfer of intellectual property from the seller to the buyer. This document serves as legal proof of ownership for record labels and distribution platforms.
Upload Agreement
By uploading a track to Ghost Producer World, you (the Producer) agree to a strict set of rules to ensure the safety and quality of our marketplace.
1. Originality and Exclusivity
You guarantee that the track you are uploading is your original creation. You must hold 100% of the rights to the track at the time of upload. Tracks uploaded to Ghost Producer World must be exclusive to our platform. You cannot list the same track for sale on other ghost production websites simultaneously.
2. Original Composition Requirement
- Every track must have a 100% original melody — composed entirely by you, with no ready-made melodic samples.
- You must not use any uncleared, copyrighted samples (e.g., ripping a vocal or melody from another song).
- Uploading a track built on ready-made melodic samples will result in rejection and may lead to account termination.
3. Quality Standard
Our A&R team reviews every submission. We reserve the right to reject any track that does not meet the industry standard for mixing, mastering, and arrangement. You must provide all required assets, including the Master WAV, Unmastered mixdown, Stems, and MIDI files.
