Tim Reaper Sets February 19 Release for Debut Album 'World's End' on Hyperdub, Leading With 'Roll Call'

Jungle fans can pre-order Tim Reaper's debut album now. The London jungle and drum & bass producer and DJ will release World's End on February 19 through Hyperdub, and the lead single "Roll Call" is out now.

It is his first solo LP, and it means a break, for now, from Future Retro, his own well-regarded label. For producers who run their own imprint, it is a familiar move: put the big statement record out through an established outside label and keep the home label for everything else.

The record follows In Full Effect, his 2024 collaboration with Australian producer Kloke, and the Scorched Earth EP from the same year, which covered tempos from 140 to 170 BPM. Reaper has said that for him jungle comes down to the breakbeats and the tempo, with room for anything else on top. The press notes for World's End say it keeps that open approach, mixing new sounds with old ones.
