If you DJ, you can now load Serato on an iPhone or iPad. Serato DJ for iOS is out on the App Store in a free version and a paid version. A permanent licence costs $149, or you can get it as part of the full Serato DJ Suite for $14.99 a month. Many of the features are limited to the paid version.
The app brings Serato's main tools to mobile: stem separation, built-in effects, EQ, key sync, cue points, set recording, and streaming from Spotify and Apple Music. It works with more than 120 hardware setups, including controllers, mixers, turntables and DVS rigs.
If you already use Serato DJ Pro or Lite 5.0, you can move your library to the device wirelessly or over USB-C, and your cue points, beatgrids and metadata come with it. Serato DJ 5.0 for desktop came out at the same time. It adds Lucid Beatgrids, which follow tracks whose tempo shifts, and that feature is in the iOS app too.
