If you are buying a Nu Disco track to release or making one to sell, today's Beatport Nu Disco / Disco Top 100 shows a chart that rewards catalogue and remixes over brand-new originals: 60 of the 100 tracks were released before 2026, and 50 before 2025. Simon Ellis and DE SOFFER's 'Walking On A Dream' (Extended Mix) on Glasgow Underground is No. 1, a 123 BPM cut in F minor released on July 10.

What the numbers say

Remixers carry this chart. Purple Disco Machine is credited on 11 tracks, including No. 2 and No. 6, both remixes first released in 2018 and 2020. DE SOFFER appears on nine, three of them in the top 10. In total, 21 tracks list a remixer. Glasgow Underground and Glitterbox Recordings hold six places each, with Defected and Tasty Recordings on five. Only 18 tracks came out in October 2026, and Serge Funk's 'On The Beat' (October 9) is the newest record in the top 10.

Tempo and key are consistent: 63 of the 100 tracks sit between 122 and 125 BPM, with 122 the single most common tempo, and 79 are in minor keys, D minor leading with 14.

If you are buying: a new release here competes with records DJs have trusted for years, so pick a track with an instantly recognisable hook in a minor key at 122-125 BPM. Glitterbox, Glasgow Underground and Defected are the labels to aim for.

If you are producing: minor-key grooves around 122-124 BPM with a strong, remix-friendly hook match what is selling. Browse exclusive Nu Disco tracks for sale to compare.
