US promoters and fans hoping to catch Nastia on a North American run will have to wait: the Ukrainian DJ and producer has cancelled all of her upcoming US shows before they were even announced, and says she will not accept American bookings until the US government's policy toward Ukraine fundamentally changes.
She shared the decision in a video and written statement on October 19, a day before she had planned to reveal the tour. In it she pointed to the Trump administration's recent moves, including easing economic pressure on Russia and restricting military technology Ukraine relies on, saying they had crossed a line for her. Playing the US now, she said, would feel like a betrayal.
"I cannot change the decisions of the US government. But I can decide where I stand."
