Insomniac's Discovery Project has opened its EDC Orlando 2026 edition, giving unsigned producers and DJs a shot at a real festival slot. Entries close September 18 at 5 PM PT and the guest judge picking finalists alongside the Insomniac team is Meduza.
The prize is a performance slot at EDC Orlando 2026, plus a spot in a production and business program run with Cosmic Academy. Entry is free, no purchase necessary, and open to US residents 18 or older (or the age of majority in their state). Submit through the entry form embedded on the official competition page — there is no separate portal to track down.
For anyone holding a ghost-produced track built for a mainstage set, this is a concrete outlet with a hard deadline this week, not another "always open" demo inbox.
