Canadian underground dance producers and labels can now enter the 2027 JUNO Awards' Underground Dance Single of the Year category directly through the JUNO Submissions portal, with entries closing November 5, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT.
Beatport has been confirmed as an eligible digital service provider for the category, which covers techno, house, drum & bass, UK garage, grime, footwork and other club-built productions with a national release date between September 1, 2025 and November 6, 2026. Both original mixes and remixes are eligible, and there are no sales thresholds to clear — a qualifying release date and a completed online entry are enough. A per-category fee applies: $80 CAD for CARAS Academy Delegates, $100 CAD for everyone else.
