House Top 100 Report: 69 of 100 Tracks Sit at 128-132 BPM as LTF Records Holds 14 Places

If you are picking a house record to release or license this week, Beatport's House Top 100 points to a clear target: a minor-key groove between 128 and 132 BPM. 69 of the 100 tracks sit in that band, 130 BPM alone accounts for 23 of them, and 78 of the 100 are written in a minor key. Prospa, Kettama and Rohan Pinnock-Hamilton hold No. 1 with 'Think of You' on Steel City Dance Discs, released on October 16.

Who owns the chart

LTF Records is the dominant label with 14 places, led by Franky Rizardo's 'Shinjuku' at No. 6. ANOTR's No Art imprint has six entries, two of them in the top 10, and Defected also holds six. The chart moves quickly at the top: five of the top 10 came out on or after September 25, and 29 of the 100 were released in October. It also has a long tail, with 20 tracks first released before 2025.

What it means if you are buying

A track at 128-132 BPM in a minor key drops straight into the tempo and mood that most of this chart already occupies, which makes it easier for DJs to place in a set. Anything far outside that range, such as the handful of entries at 136 BPM and above, is the exception here rather than the rule. Browse exclusive House tracks for sale with those numbers in mind.

What it means if you are producing

The space is crowded at 128 and 130 BPM, where 43 tracks sit, so the arrangement and the hook have to carry the difference. Labels like LTF and No Art are placing several records at once, which suggests that a consistent sound across a run of releases gets rewarded. Fresh releases reach the upper half within weeks, so timing a release for a Friday drop still matters.
