If you make disco-rooted house or nu-disco, you can now remix one of the records that started it all: Cerrone and his label Because Music have released the original stems of "Love In C Minor" on LabelRadar, and entries close on November 19, 2026.
The track turns 50 this November. Cerrone pressed the 16-minute record himself in 1976 after labels turned it down, and it went on to land him a deal with Atlantic Records.
What you can win
- Winner: an official remix release on Because Music, distributed to all DSPs (subject to label approval), plus a Cerrone merch package and signed vinyl.
- Two runners-up: a Cerrone merch package each.
How to enter
Download the stems from the contest page, build your version and upload it on LabelRadar before the deadline. Cerrone and Because Music pick the winners themselves and plan to announce them within a month of the close.
