ADE and Insomniac Launch Map Point Summit, a Las Vegas Industry Conference Between the Two EDC Weekends in May 2027

If you are an independent promoter, a rising producer or a DJ trying to build a career in the US, mark May 2027: Amsterdam Dance Event and Insomniac are starting a dance music industry conference in Las Vegas called Map Point Summit. The programme, speakers and ticketing are still to come, so for now the practical step is to watch the summit's channels for the first announcement.

The first edition runs for three days at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, slotted between the two weekends of EDC Las Vegas (May 14-16 and May 21-23, 2027). Insomniac CEO Pasquale Rotella revealed it during his keynote at this year's ADE in Amsterdam. The organisers describe it as a meeting place for newcomers and established professionals, built around sharing knowledge, making contacts and finding opportunities.

The name points back to the "map points" of US underground raves, where people met at an agreed spot before getting directions to the party. Rotella presented the project as a way to protect rave culture's grassroots character and to back independent promoters and the next generation of artists.

For anyone releasing music, it adds a US networking stop during one of the busiest festival windows of the year.
